What configurations do I require in order to easily identify errors on html script on text edit mac operating system without having to study each line of code that is usually strenuous?

Hello,

To easily identify errors on HTML script, you will have to use a HTML editor. Most Html editors recognize the HTML tags used and when a tag is wrongfully edited, most of them change the color used or underlines the misspelled tag for you to easily recognize and correct. You will easily identify an error due to color change or suggestions provided. Some of them have an auto-complete feature which enables you to easily avoid wrong tags and errors. You can try and download Adobe Dreamweaver for mac OS or Macromedia Dreamweaver.
