Hi,

I was wondering if someone could explain to me what iCloud is. I know for the most part that it is a place that you store data, but does it take up any space on the computer? Also how do you access a file once it is in the "Cloud", as well as how do you put it in there to begin with? How safe is it? Do I want to put important documents (such as tax info) in it or not?

Thank you!

iCloud is a cloud storage and cloud computing service from Apple launched on October 12, 2011. iCloud is same as Drive from Google. iCloud stores all your data such as photos, files, presentation, documents, music etc. on cloud. You can download any data on your System any time. It doesn’t take any space on your computer system, As its Remote server on which data gets stored. For accessing any file you can go to iCloud from any device on which it is installed and download it or you can view the file online itself. It is pretty much safe to place the data on cloud.
