I wonder if I can set up MS Office on my system already has configured. They have it on my database which is I made in 2003. I do not need to overrule the existing Office 2010. Please advise me how could I make it?

You can still install the ms office 2010 and it will perfectly with the database that you created using ms access 2003, unless there are some things that were meant to be specifically used in the ms office 2003 package, so you do not have to worry that your database may cease to work after you install the latest version of office which is ms office 2010.

As long as the version that you want to install is the full version then it will not have limitations. It will come with even more advantages as compared to ms office 2003 especially when it comes to securing the database.

It might be a good idea if you upgrade your current Microsoft Office to Office 2010. Even if you are still running XP, and use MS Office 2003, without previously installing MS Office 2007, you can still upgrade your MS Office to the latest one.

Here are the steps with screenshots on how to upgrade your MS Office 2003 to Office Professional Plus 2010 RTM (Final).

As for the system requirements, you'll need to make sure you have Service pack 3 for XP and Microsoft Silverlight installed in order to successfully upgrade your MS Office.

It is also necessary to have recommended hardware: 1 GHZ CPU or higher; 512 MB of RAM or higher; 1024×768 Resolution or higher; DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics card with 64 MB of memory or higher. If these two conditions are met you can continue with the installation.

Simply start the Office Professional Plus 2010 installation, enter in your product key, agree to the EULA, choose the Customize button. At this point, setup will detect your previous MS Office version and offer you to choose if you want to remove all applications, keep them or select only the ones you want to keep. For example, we can remove Excel and PowerPoint, and keep Outlook and Word 2003.

You can select Office programs you want to install in the Installation options tab. For this example, we are keeping Outlook 2003, so we won't install Outlook 2010. As for the Word we'll select Word 2010. After you are done click the Upgrade button. All that's left is to wait until the installation process is finished which will depend on your computer configuration.

After the installation process is done click Close and in your Start menu you can find both of the versions of MS Office Word.

Cool. So happy you got all the details. I was able to do all the necessary moves. Customizing my MS Office during the installation process. And it's done very well.

Thank you.
