Hi All

I am using MS Office 2007. I want to know if there is any freeware GUI Excel? Is it possible to put a custom GUI on top and spreadsheet residing at back end?

Hello,

You can use  Add-in Express that enables developers to create an advanced GUI for their Excel add-ins and build custom Excel task panes in a more comfortable way than Office 2007, 2010 or 2013.

 

When you use the Advanced Task Panes you can develop application-level task panes that work on all Excel versions: Excel 2000, XP, 2003, 2007, 2010 and Excel 2013. In addition, task panes that use Add-in Express have the possibility to get shared.

 

These panes can have one or several forms produced by one or several Excel add-ins.  Moreover, the Add-in enables you to customize the workbook and create custom worksheet functions. Another Add-in feature is RTD that will allow you to connect to Real time Data so that the end-user can work with live tables.
