I received an Error 2 from the Malwarebytes

Hey there,

I had to run the Dell diagnosis tool on my computer. It required the computer to reboot to complete it successfully, which I followed. The problem however, began when I received an Error 2 from the Malwarebytes.

The Tray icon failed to load, but the UI reported the protection module as turned on. What I don’t understand is whether this different system error code or if it is a different error code.

I decided to close the window,and UI immediately reported that the protection module has been turned off. Is this a threat to any of my computer file or even the whole system?

Hello Patty,

The resolution to the error you are getting with Malwarebytes AntiMalware will be to perform clean install using the following steps.

• First of all, you will need to run the clean up tool and then allow the computer to restart if it prompts you so. You can get the Malwarebytes clean up tool on the internet.
• After that, you will need to install Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware. Download the setup for free from the internet.
• After that you should save the file and then you will double-click it to begin the installation.
• Select the options you desire when as the installation progresses.
• Once opened, you will need to click on the 'Register' button and then enter your ID and key.
