I Receive “The Username/password Is Invalid” When Trying To Log In To Fallout 76

Before I downloaded the game, I checked some reviews for “Fallout 76” to at least see how other users feel about the game and I learned a lot of negative feedbacks not only from ordinary users but from game reviewers as well. But still, I tried the game and its fine, I guess for me.

But after a few days, I started receiving “The username/password is invalid” and I can’t log on to the game. I know what I’m entering are correct. How do you fix this?

In any online account, not only with online games, account security is a must and Bethesda.net takes your account security very seriously. To make sure every account is maintained they proactively recommend or require every user to change their password. I think they do this on a regular basis or when there is no activity in your account.

If you tried logging in to Fallout 76 and you receive “The username/password is invalid”, you should receive an email with a password reset link. Log in to your email account linked to your Bethesda.net account and open the message sent to you. Click on the password reset link to reset your Bethesda.net account’s password so you can log in again.

Now, if you cannot find that email message or the link has expired, go to Bethesda.net Forgot Password page to send a new password reset link to your email address. On the other hand, if that email address is no longer active, go to Bethesda Account Recovery and request further assistance.
