I don’t remember the exact formula to work out percentage increase, if anyone knows how to calculate the same, please help me in solving this problem.

I Need To Know The Formula For Calculating Percent, The Formula To Work Out Percentage Increase.Anyone Knows?

Hey, if you have to calculate the percentage increase then you have to follow the simple 3 step approach:

1. Calculate the difference between the two numbers which you are comparing. ( Final value – Original Value)
2. Divide the above expression by the original or the original number. ((Difference)/Original)
3. The resultant of the above two expressions multiplied by 100 will be your answer.((Difference)/Initial) * 100

The same formula works for thedecrease; only it has a negative sign as a result.
