I was working on a Docx document when my PC crashed. It looks like the Word document I was working on got corrupted and I need a text recovery converter word 2010. Can I still recover information from a damaged document and will formatting be lost? I use Microsoft Word 2010.

Hello Christine,

Yes it is possible to recover text from the damaged file (Word file or a non word file). Since you need to recover the text from the word file so follow the simple steps:

1- Go to Microsoft Office word 2010.

2- Click on the button "Microsoft Office" and open it. You can also do this step by the File menu.

3- Here find "Recover Text from any file" and click it.

4- From the list select your document to recover your text.

5- Open it.

That will solve the problem.

Dear,

This is very easy to recover a text file from its corrupted state to working.

Here I am going to tell you two methods to recover your file.

1. Open Microsoft Office 2007 or 2010.

2. Click on office button on the head of program at title bar. It is also called control icon. When you will click on it, you will see a drop down list having many options

3. In this list look for “Recover Text” and select it.

4. Open this tool. It will help you a lot.

On the other hand, I suggest you that you go to the link download the software.
