Hello techyv.com!

I have here a Lenovo Laptop and its OS is Windows 7. I have here lots of WAV music files that I wanted to be converted into a minus one because I want to make some karaoke songs. But I don't know how to remove those vocals on those wav files. So is there a software for vocal remover for wav files? If there's none, please give me some advice of what can I do. The key is, to make these songs into a karaoke type.. Thanks techyv.com!

Hello

I have found couple of software that will solve your issue, First one is Karaoke CD+G creator, that can convert using MP3 or WAV files, This software comes for free, Below you'll find the link,

http://karaoke-cd-g-creator.software.informer.com/

Second is Karino vocal remover software, That removes MP3 files, WAV files , Plus songs on any CD audio, You can make any song without vocal, This software is also come free to download,

Hello John Sappington,

If none of the links above works for you, I can suggest some ways to remove the vocals manually by using Audacity. You can try downloading Audacity here.

And also download this one, as it is also needed in exporting your files.

When you've finished downloading the software, open it and import the audio files you want to edit.

Then go to Effect, keep going down 'till you see the 'Vocal Remover' option.

That basically removes the clear and center vocals of an audio. You'd hear less vocals after. Though some  second voices left can be heard.

Note: Removing the vocals of an mp3, wav or any audio files always depends on the audio file itself. Even with the Vocal Remover/Karaoke software's, it does not guarantee you to always achieve the fully removed vocals.

It depends on the mp3. But the steps I mentioned above can at least remove the center/clear vocals of an audio.
