Hi!

I am posting here my problem that I encountered while I was browsing the internet using the Internet Explorer. An error message appeared on my screen: "An error has occurred in the script on this page".

Internet Explorer Script Error
An error has occurred in the script on this page
Line:  89
Char:  1
Error: Object expected
Code; 0
URL:  wlmahtml: (92763A92-0804-44A0-8218-6EF8C61081A3) mid:/00000012
Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?

The error message which is pasted above is very strange. It just pops up on my screen in almost all of the web pages that I view and it’s very annoying. I remember yesterday when I scanned my computer there were a lot of virus found, but the Antivirus software managed to remove all the virus and after that this error keeps on flashing on my screen every time I use the interne. Please share some ideas on this scenario.

Thanks a lot.

Hi! Dear

You can solve this issue by following these steps.

  1. Click Start, and then click Run.
  2. In the Open box, type Regsvr32 urlmon.dll, and then click Ok.
  3. When prompted with the DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded message, click Ok.

If your problem can't be solved then follow these steps

  1. Open the Java Virtual Machine. To do so, visit the Java web site.
  2. Close all instances of Internet Explorer.
  3. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Internet Options.
  4. Click the Advanced tab.
  5. Under Browsing, click to clear the Enable third-party browser extensions (requires restart) check box.
  6. Restart Internet Explorer.

If the issue still is not resolved you can follow these steps.

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Click Tools and click Internet Options.
  3. Click the Advanced tab.
  4. Under Browsing, click to select the Disable Script Debugging check box.
  5. Click Ok to close all Windows and then restart the computer.

And if you can't solve this problem then I recommend you that you uninstall the Internet Explorer and then install it again for this purpose and you can download Internet Explorer from the Microsoft site.

Thanks.

Open the Internet Explorer > click on Tools > Internet Options > click on the Advanced Tab > under Browsing unmark the box named 'Disable Script Debugging'. Then to turn it on and display a notification about every script error to turn it off, click on Apply for changes to take effect.

Then click on Ok and close the Internet Explorer.

Restart the Internet Explorer and the problem will be solved.
