I’m having trouble with my SBC Yahoo login

Hi guys.  I have just upgraded my OS from Windows XP 64 bit to Windows 8.  I am now having trouble with my SBC Yahoo login.  I am having an error of "wrong username and password".  Is this because of my system or a network error?

Hi Emileekeila,

 

Upgrading from Windows XP 64-bit to Windows 8 should not affect the way that you log in to your SBC Yahoo account. The username and password that you use to log in are not stored in your computer, so upgrading to Windows 8 should not cause any problems.

Please check if your caps lock key is on, or if there are stuck keys on the keyboard.

There should also be a way for you to retrieve your username and password if it gives you that error. A link should appear that says “Forgot password”. If you click on this link, you will be receiving an email that will give you instructions on how to either retrieve or reset your password.

In case it doesn’t work, I would suggest contacting SBC Yahoo for help.
