I’m having a DVR Remote software runtime error

Hello there.  I used to run DVR Remote using Mozilla Firefox for remote viewing on a Windows XP system.  I have recently upgraded to Windows OS 8 and I am now having a DVR Remote software runtime permission is denied error.  What does this mean?

Hi Effieclyde,

I am not particular with the version of this DVR viewer that you currently have but I found something that may interest you and might be the answer to your question as well.

I checked the system requirement of this software. (Image below)

This might be the cause of the error that you get from your new OS. To tell you honestly when I read the error from your post, system requirement is my first hunch so the best resolution is for you to get the version compatible with Win 8.

I found the Manual of your Software.

Also, I was unable to find a Version for Win 8. You might want to check from where you get the software.
