I have problems in my internet download manager.
Dear Takila,
You have problems in your Internet Download Manager. Your Internet Download Manager does not work. Here are some tips for you:
- If you are using the trial version of Internet Download Manager, then after 1 month it will stop working. Please check it first.
- If your 1-month trial is over and you want to use Internet Download Manager again, then you need to reinstall your operating system.
- If your present version of Internet Download Manager is an older version and has not expired yet, just finish the remaining days of the trial period and then download the latest version, Internet Download Manager 6.12, from Internet Download Manager.
I hope your problem will be solved.
Thank you.

First of all, is there any errors shown on your screen when trying to download anything on your IDM? So we can be able to know the reason why it is not working. Also, is it working before? There are instances that when you download and cancel the download twice, IDM will ask if you want to add the site to the exceptions list. Maybe you accidentally accept it so it stops on downloading. To fix this, launch Option and then select the File Types tab and click the Edit List. See if the site you are trying to download is included in the exceptions. If so, highlight it and then click the Delete button.
If that is not the issue, I will suggest you to uninstall IDM and go to the link below and re-download it again. Ensure that you already remove all the IDM components before reinstalling it. After the downloading process, install it and try to download anything again.

If you have Internet Download Manager but it doesn’t work and you can’t download anything, check your internet connection first. Check the network cable at the back of the CPU. Try to disconnect and re-connect it from the network port. If this doesn’t work and you are connected to a router, try resetting the router.
If the Wi-Fi router has a power button, press it to turn it off then unplug it from the power for about 10 to 20 seconds. Press any button on the router to drain any leftover power or to power cycle. After this, plug the router back to the power and turn it on.
When the router is ready, try downloading with Internet Download Manager again then see if it works. If this doesn’t work, try installing the latest version. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it. Once installed, start Revo Uninstaller then select your Internet Download Manager among the applications and click “Uninstall”. Follow the normal uninstall process.
When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds. This removes everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, close Revo Uninstaller then download the latest Internet Download Manager and install it. See if it works. If the problem continues, download and use Free Download Manager instead.
