I have a dropbox ISA 2004 proxy connection problem

I have a dropbox account setup and I'd like to connect to it through ISA 2004 proxy that's installed on the server. But for some reason it doesn't want to establish an connection.

Note that I only have this problem when trying to connect through the proxy server, but not when connecting directly!

What could be the problem?

Hello

The problem may be because the proxy server is using NTLM authentication, which is not yet supported by Dropbox.

I recommend that since, you can't change the authentication of the proxy, it would be advisable to directly connect the dropbox where there is no problem being faced by you.

You need to configure proxy settings for your DropBox manually

 

1. Right-click on the DropBox icon in the system tray
 

2. Click on the gear icon and select Preferences from the menu.

3. Click on the Network tab.

4. Fill in your proxy settings under the section appropriately labeled Proxy Settings.
