The cause of the error is improperly configured or corrupted system drivers, damaged or virus-infected Windows registry, corrupted system files, and conflicts in system drivers.

The steps to fix 0x4e error are as follows:

  • Check the RAM
  1. Open the dialog box by pressing Windows+ R.
  2. Type mdsched.exe and click on Yes.
  3. Click on Restart and check for problems, and after that Windows tool will check the RAM.
