I can’t unregister one email account in Blackberry

I have a new model of Blackberry (9930 Bold) phone. I liked everything about it with all its features up until now. I am using the Gmail app and I can’t stop the notifications from stock mail client. 

I have all my contacts in Gmail and I can’t un-register the account. I don’t want to use two different apps for this small problem.

Please let me know why this is happening. What is the solution for this? Thanks.

I can’t unregister one email account in Blackberry

To remove a registered email address from the BlackBerry Messenger, do the following:

1. Go to the Instant Messaging folder then click the BlackBerry Messenger icon.
2. Press Menu.
3. Click Options.
4. Click Back Up.
5. Click Back up files remotely.
6. On the Remote Backup screen, select the email address you want to remove.
7. Press Menu.
8. Click Edit Email Status.
9. Press Menu.
10. Click Deactivate Email.

I can’t unregister one email account in Blackberry

Hello Cmendoza,

                      If you want to get rid of these mails then you need to go to that mail of stock exchange after that you need to go to the last of the mail. Here will be written that unsubscribe from the mail service. All you need to go to that part and click that one to stop receiving messages from that one mailing service.

And also remove it from your contact menu so that you can get no further details of that one.

Hello there,

It seems to me you want an email account To be unregistered from your blackberry. To remove a previously registered email address you need to do the following

1. Access instant messaging folder and select Blackberry Messenger.

2. Select Menu > Options > Back up > Back up files remotely.

3. On the Remote back up screen, select the email address which you want to be removed.

4. Select Menu > Deactivate Email

You can also get rid of these mails by going to that mail and after that you need to go to the last of the mail. Here you will have the option to unsubscribe from the mail service. You can also remove that contact from your contact menu to avoid any further details.
