My laptop is installed with a Computer Aided Design (CAD) Software which helps me create 2D and 3D designs as well as make drafts. I apply DCT file format to aid in dictation using NHC software. While trying to perform a spelling check, I got the following error message. I need some assistance please.

AutoCAD Message

Unable to find main dictionary.

Could not start speller.

You may have deleted the files for the dictionary from your support folder. They are files with .dct extensions. You can use the CD and try to reinstall the AutoCAD and make sure that you installed the dictionary options to solve the problem. Also check if your SUPPORT Folder is under your AutoCAD folder. It may have been moved to a different folder. Try to copy-paste it when you found it and check if it solves the problem. You can also try the command DCTMAIN then enter enu.dct. Under the Tools menu, select Options, then Files – go to the support file search path. enu.dct should be the very first thing listed. enu.dct stands for American English. Other languages have their own .dct files but since American English is the most used, it is found on top of the list. Hope you can solve it.
