I can't connect my personal computer to the network of my office. Yesterday I run my Mcafee Antivirus before I shutdown my computer. As I turn on my computer in the morning, I'm not connected in the server.  So I checked my IP address using the command prompt and I typed ipconfig, but this message appears.

Error:

ipconfig.exe-Unable To Locate Component

This application has failed to start because DHCPCSVC.DLL was not found.Re-installing the application may fix this problem

What's wrong with my network connection?

This means that there is a corrupt file in dhcpcsvc. Some errors will indicate in the registry with dhcpcsvc.dll errors. A possible problem also is a virus infection and Malware issues.  The important things needed to be done is, to download from the DLL download website but it has be downloaded in a legitimate website.

Restore it in the dhcpsvc.dll from the deleted folder or recycle bin. This file might have been deleted by accident and or missing.

If it's not in the recycle bin, then you can download this .dll file on the Internet.  Run an Antivirus software and Malware because some of  it might be virus or Malware issue that your computer has this infection.

You can do a system restore if it's really the file itself is missing or wrongly configured.

Go to Start, Settings and Control Panel;
Click Add/Remove Programs;
Go to Windows Set-up tab then Communications;
Go to Details and dial-up Networking and put a check on the box;
Click Ok and close Add/Remove Programs;
Shutdown computer and re-start it back up.
