Hi there, I know apple is supposed to have a super simple interface, and it auto-syncs all your stuff. But, I don't want it to keep syncing every single time I have to charge the thing. How can I turn off the sync?
Hi Jeffrey. I know Apple products and iTunes can be confusing at times. I used to have the same problem too, you know.
Anyway, there is an option where you can disable the automatic synchronization in iTunes.
1. Click on “Edit” and then “Preferences”. You can also use a shortcut on your keyboard which is ctrl + ,
2. Once you are in the device preferences, go to the Devices tab. It is the one with the icon that looks like an iPhone.
3. Make sure that “Prevent iPods, iPhones and iPads from syncing automatically” is checked.
