I cannot find list of files in Windows 8

I have set up windows 8 and I have used this for few days, so far I am liking it.

However, I am confused as to where to locate or search for the list of files that is setup on my computer. I've tried to go to start menu but everything looks different and I can’t locate my programs.

Thanks in advance for the help.

• I put my category in Windows 7 as I can't find Windows 8.

I cannot find list of files in Windows 8

Windows 8 Developer Preview doesn't have a start menu to display the installed apps. You can view all your installed apps easily by considering doing the following easy way:

1.     Press Win + F to open the search screen

2.     Click Apps and here you are all your installed application list is sorted alphabetically from A to Z.

By comparing this view with the currently windows 7 view, windows developer preview is working with the old 3.x terminology of "parent group". 

As you can see in the image, all adobe apps are listed together.
