I recently installed the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. When I tried to play the game online, it gives me error code 372. It said that the servers were unavailable at the time. I decided to just try again the next day I figured the server would be fine by then but nope, still the same. Why is this happening?

Since you were able to successfully install the game on your computer, I doubt it if it’s a system incompatibility issue. Try checking your computer’s specifications based on these information. The game, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 regardless of what Service Pack it is using. It doesn’t have high requirements and users with older computers will still be able to play this game so I’m sure it will work on your machine.

Since you are having an error 372 when you play the game, try doing a clean installation of the program again. Uninstall Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 then restart the computer. After booting the system, check your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. Then install the game again and then try it afterwards. Be sure to activate the game again after reinstalling it. Activating the game requires an internet connection.

If reinstalling it didn’t help, try downloading the game again from its official web site or you can go to Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 3 to download the game.

I’ve already checked the web site of the game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 particularly on the server page and as far as I see it, there’s nothing wrong with their system. The page says that all servers are all up and running at full capacity which means all lights are green and any users who want to play the game will be able to login to the server.

If you tried playing the game the following day after you failed to connect and the status is still the same, try doing a clean installation of the game client again. There’s probably something wrong with the game client’s system files. Uninstall the game client from your machine then check your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. Install the game client again after this and then try connecting to the game again.

If you still can’t connect to the game, try visiting the game’s web site and then login to your account to verify that you can manually sign in to your account. If you can sign in manually on the web site then there’s no problem with your account. But if you can’t then you have to create a new account again.
