I can’t make Photoshop load animated gif plugin.

Hello fellows,

I can’t make Photoshop load animated gif plugin. I am using CS4 Adobe Photoshop version. I can’t seem to load the animated gif plugin that I need for the project. The gif theme is the most important and the main element of this activity. Can you give me some idea or solution to this problem?

Thank you guys.

Adobe Photoshop CS4 can also open animated GIF files but if you do try to open an animated GIF file with this application, it will only show you the first frame of the animation. The rest of the frames of the animation will be discarded. To load all the frames of the file or to simply load the full animated GIF file, open Adobe Photoshop CS4 then click File, Import, Video Frames to Layers.

In File Name, type without quotes “*” to show all files then select the animated GIF file you want to work with. You can also type the name of the file manually but you need to navigate to the file’s folder first to load it then click Open. It may also help if you install QuickTime on your computer.

In case you can’t find “Video Frames to Layers” or it is not available in your Adobe Photoshop CS4, this is maybe because you are using the 64-bit version of the program. The “Video Frames to Layers” option is only available in Adobe Photoshop CS4 32-bit.
