I downloaded Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11 software to produce great HD movies.
My 64-bit computer has IBM operating system, 128 MB of RAM and a 900 MHz processor.
When I tried to run the software, the following error message pops up.
I will be grateful for any suggestions.

Sony Vegas Pro has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you of a solution is available.

There is of course  some problem in files related to this software. May be the files are corrupt or misconfigured.
Do following to resolve this issue.
Uninstall the software from control panel.
Restart your computer.
Install a good antivirus. I will suggest Microsoft Security Essentials. Update its definitions and run a full scan of your system.
After the scan is complete. Reinstall the software and start using it.
If it doesn’t help try to recover your windows files using system recovery.
Once it is done install the software and enjoy using.

Reinstall it. If that does not work then maybe some files are corrupt and misconfigured.
First uninstall the software then restart your pc. May be your pc having some viruses so install a good antivirus.
After installing antivirus scan your computer. After scanning reinstall the software.
