I am not able to find folder option in my computer why?

I am not able to find folder option from tools menu in my computer. I tried from different options for find it but not able to find the option. If I want to get back folder option under tools menu what i have to do?

I am not able to find folder option in my computer why?

This is because of your computer getting affected by virus or malicious programs. If it happens, then the folder option in tool menu hides and all the hidden folders are automatically gets hidden.

 

Therefore, In order to get rid of these, you need to install Antivirus software first. But sometimes that may not work too(because some virus programs does not allow to install any software in the computer). You try to install the Kaspersky Antivirus and then if it is allowed to install then put the whole computer in "thorough scan mode". Once it is done and viruses are removed, then restart the computer.  And your computer will show the Folder option under the tools menu.

 

Another Option is to go to your RUN command -type "gpedit.msc"-user configuration-administrative templates-windows components-windows explorer-enable or disable and then press enable and then apply. This would probably bring the folder options back to your tools menu.

 

If this is not working and the Anti virus is not allowed to install by the computer and if error shows, then the other option will be to back up all your files and format the whole computer and install the OS again. That will surely help.

It is possible that your computer is infected with a virus or other malware. Under the circumstances, the behavior of your computer is often unpredictable. Therefore, you have to use an antivirus program and remove all unwanted guests from your machine. Then try to avoid installation of suspicious software and perform regular checks with the antivirus program.
