I am getting particular virus popup message please help….

Hi.

I am using windows vista business edition. I am getting a particular virus Popup message that is in the picture.

If i click on the ok button it will Popup downloading one 'ieav.exe' application.

This is happening all the times i am opening the IE , folders,etc…

I have done the full system scan with my avira antivirus and also scanned with the windows defender.

But nothing is helping me to resolve this issue. I am not able to repair my IE.

please help me….

Hey Ameesha!

Trojan horses are basically computer virus which associate them with some programs downloaded from Internet. Then they keep on multiplying and get attached to other files in your system. That's why your computer get slow and different problems like the one you've mentioned start occurring in your PC.

You go to remove the Trojans horse viruses manually by removing all the infected files in your system. I am going to tell you how to do it. Try it and it will remove all the Trojan horse viruses from your system hopefully.

Ok you got to do the following:

1) Download the software called "COMBOFIX". You can download it from:download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe

2) Then restart your PC.

3) Press F8 to enter system settings and you'll show up whether you want to start your computer in safe mode. Run your computer in SAFE mode.

4) When your computer get started with safe mode, open up COMBOFIX and run it. It will run its programs simply follow the simple instructions. It will detect and delete all the Trojan horses in your system. Once completed it will restart your pc.

5) Once you system is restarted it COMBOFIX will generate a Docs file which will show you it has detected and removed out of your system.

I think this pop up is caused by the virus but I don't think you should press ok as well in this pop up.

So it is best to do the different solutions below:

Solution 1:

Run your computer first in safe mode and then restart it once again. See if the pop up will still come out when you enter the safe mode. Then if it doesn't I suggest that you give your computer a very long scan. It should include all of your storage media (hard disk, and USBs) and find if there is a virus. Install Microsoft Security Essentials, this my recommended anti virus software for you as long as you have an authentic operating system.

Solution 2:

It would be best if you reformat your PC to simply remove all of the viruses but don't forget to back up all of your precious files or else you will have a hard time recovering it.
