Hello, in Dell machines this error 2000-0333 is very common. The diagnostic tools are auto configured. This occurs because when the diagnostic tool is run on the computer either manually or automatically, the user is supposed to press ‘y’.

This command is prompted by the computer using colored bars but after some time its scope expires and the above error occurs. The solution is easy; run the diagnostic tool again and this time press ‘y’ when prompted.

In Dell computers, you may receive error code “2000-0333” when you run the Diagnostics but the system didn’t receive a response from the user. This happens if you didn’t select an option from the test within the time allowed.

Error code “0333” means you started the diagnostic tool or was launched automatically then on the part where you are prompted to hit “Y” when the test shows some color bars, you didn’t respond within the time allowed. This is actually not an error to get worried about because it is just an error with the test and nothing serious.

To fix the problem, re-run the Diagnostics and select an option or follow the instructions to interact with the test. Just repeat the test and respond within the time required. Start your computer then press F12 when you see the Dell logo to start the PSA Diagnostics. On the menu, scroll down and select “Diagnostics” then hit Enter to start the PSA test.

Follow the instructions on the screen and respond as fast as you can to complete the test. On the other hand, if you receive the error after installing a new video card, remove and reinstall the device. Turn off the computer and open the CPU case. Disconnect the video card from the slot and then install it back.

Once the video card is reinstalled, run the Diagnostics again and see if it works. In case you receive the same error code again, you may contact Dell Support for assistance.
