HP LASERJET 49.4C02 ERROR CODE

Hello

My HP 5500 Laserjet printer is having a problem, when i want to print it shows 49.4C02 Error code, i have check the cable but still the same is there anything else i can check out for ?

HP LASERJET 49.4C02 ERROR CODE

This type of error happens when you give wrong print command. To solve this problem you may do this job.

1.       Cancel all remaining print command.

2.       Free all printer memory.

3.       Turn off printer and again turn on.

4.       Use print a job with different application

5.       If it is not working and disconnect all cable and connect them again

6.       Remove all DIMMs and EIO and clear its memory

7.       If the error is no more then install DIMMs and EIO again

At last turn off the printer and turn on again. Then try to print a document. It will work

HP LASERJET 49.4C02 ERROR CODE

 

You may try this to fix the problem by:

1.    Turn off printer

2.    Disconnect all cables and remove HP Jetdirect card

3.    Wait for a few seconds then connect all cables.

4.    Turn the printer on. If you still see the error, repeat instruction 1 and 2.

5.    Remove the formatter board

6.    Double check the parallel I/O board if properly installed on the formatter board

7.    Remove any extra memory installed

8.    Plug back the cables and switch power on. If error still persist

9.    Go to control panel and perform cold reset
