I bought my HP laptop two years back, and now I am facing an issue of the black screen. It does turn on, but it shows the black screen with a red dot. Is there any solution to the problem I am facing?

HP Laptop

The issue you are facing is a black screen of death. There could be any reason for the black screen to occur on the laptop. It can be either due to overheating caused by the video card or processor. It can be an issue with your monitor or cable from monitor to pc.

Steps:

• Turn off the computer

• Remove all the media drives and USB devices.

• Disconnect AC power adapter

• Press the power button key and hold it for around 2 min so that it can recover the problems.

• Connect the ac adapter
