If you have an HP printer and you receive error code “0xc18a0101”, here’s how to fix it. Press and hold the four (4) buttons “OK”, “Cancel”, “Black”, and “Color” then turn the printer off manually. The “Black” and “Color” buttons you need to press are the ones on the copy side of the printer. This didn’t work for some users because they are pressing the wrong buttons.

Allow the printer to turn off normally. Keep holding the buttons until the printer turns off completely.
