Hello experts,

How will I change the screen resolution XP? I just reformatted my computer from Windows 7 starter to Windows XP operating system, because gamers do recommend Windows XP for any online games. I just want to ask if how to change the screen resolution in Windows XP.

Thank you.

Changing the "Screen resolution" is trouble-free.

You can follow the steps below:

* From your desktop, right click on it but not over an icon.
* Select "Properties" by clicking.

 Display Properties will appear and from there:

* Click and choose the "Settings" tab.
* Change the resolution by dragging the slider left to reduce it and right to increase it.

Note: The number/level of options you can adjust will depend on your video card.

* If you're satisfied with the new resolution you set, click "Apply".
* A Message box will appear stating if you want to keep the changes click "Yes".
* Click "Ok" when you're done.

Click Start and then go to the Control Panel and hit Display. Move the slider under the Screen Resolution on the Settings tab and then hit the Apply button. To confirm the changes, click OK.

Your Windows will turn into black for a while and when the screen resolution changes, you will have a few seconds to confirm the changes you made. Click Yes to confirm or no to go back to your old setting.
