I'm using custom ringtones for my CM9 RC1. But suddenly it can't recognize any ringtones in that folder. I tried different ways for fixing it but no use. Do you have any idea how to use custom ringtone in CM9?

First confirm that the ringtone is showing up in your list or not, and also confirm that it is playing or not. If so, the system can't find it on your SD card in your mobile phone and is reverting to the default ringtone of your mobile phone.
That why de-attach your SD card from your mobile phone or backing up and then format it. After formatting copy all custom ringtones to it and play all the ringtones.

You need to reinstall the software for the ring tone play. The software is not working properly and you need to change it. It is only possible if you know how to change the software for CM9 RC1.
