How to turn on visible password on a Symbian mobile phone?

Hey Aron Morgan,

In Symbian mobiles like Nokia and Sony Ericsson S60v3, S60v2, S60v5 and s60^3 etc devices are famous for Symbian OS. As far as the operating system is concerned the lock code password cannot be made visible through any native option. But you can see each character when you press it for just a fraction of a second while entering the password at the lock code screen.

Although there's a way, we at techyv does not allow to use any illegal ways.

Thanks

I think what you want to do is to make the password visible so you can see if you already have incorrect characters while entering the password. I’m not sure if it is possible because it all depends on the form where you are entering your password. And it also depends on the mobile site since the login form is integrated in the site.

You really have no control over the form where you are entering your password. If the site owner sets the form to hide the characters you enter in the password field then you won’t be able to see any characters as you type your password in the form. And this is tricky.

But most of the time each of the characters you enter for your password is displayed for a couple of seconds before it disappears. This gives you enough time to see if you enter the correct character or not. And I think this is the default behavior in most mobile sites I visited before.
