I need to submit some files to my professor. They are very huge files so I want to give him my hard drive. How to transfer files from computer to external hard drive?
First, you need to connect the hard disk to the computer using one of the ports on either side of the computer. Then, wait for it to open up a new window in your computer. From the given options, click on “open folder to view files”. Now, from my computer, go to the location of required files to be transferred. Select the files, press right click and click on copy. Then, open the hard disk folder and right click at an empty space in the folder. Click on paste.
Your files will be transferred. Do not remove the hard disk without pressing “eject” first.
