Calculating percentages in excel is a very easy task. There are particular formulas to every calculation in excel, and if you remember them, then you will be able to calculate and make your project perfectly. The percentage calculation is a very task to conduct but what is important to remember the particular formula used. Here are the steps to be followed in excel formula for percentage calculation –

1.) List down all the calculations and readings you have taken required for the percentage calculation in their respective cells to manage your data in the worksheet.

2.) Select the cell where you want to get your percentage calculated.

3.) Let us suppose that you have the used quantity as B1 and the total quantity as A1. So the formula required for the calculation will be =B1/A1.

4.) Now, your percentage for the particular cell has been calculated. If you want to calculate for more than two terms, then just start the formula with = and mention the cells you want to choose for calculation in the formula.
