The 40 MIO error occurs when the data cannot be transmitted to the printer from the PC properly. Try these out-

  1. Remove the MIO card.
  2. Clean it with a clean cloth gently.
  3. Insert it again.
  4. Check if the error is gone.

Method 2

  1. Remove your LAN cable from both ends.
  2. Clean the cable and cable slots.
  3. Clean the LAN wire.
  4. Insert it again.
  5. Check if the error is gone.

Others –

  1. Your MIO card can be corrupted, and you have to replace it.
  2. Your LAN wire can be defective; you have to replace it.
  3. There is an unknown interruption in the power when transferring data from PC to printer. You need to contact an expert for this.
