Exchange 2010 transaction logs are deleted after a full back up, but it is not happening for a few days. It is taking up storage, and I have to delete them otherwise, it will freeze. What to do?
How to solve Exchange 2010 transaction logs not deleting after full back up?
I know two ways to solve this problem. Try the second one if the first one does not work.
Here is the first method –
1 – Dismount/ Descend all the databases.
2 – Mount them again.
3 – Organize an additional full backup agenda for the exchange backup job.
4 – Check if the logs are eliminated, and backups are completed.
If the above method does not work, you need to delete the Exchange 2010 transaction logs manually. To delete logs manually, go to the folder where you store your logs. Select the logs, right-click on it, and delete it.
