I’ve been trying to fix this windowsupdate_c1900101 4000d error but was never successful. Can anyone help me solve this problem?

Follow the instructions below and check if it works for you or not:

• Unplug all the external devices like USBs and internet connections.

• Disable the anti-virus and allow the public access to windows update using windows firewall.

• Do the System File checker scan:

– Open CMD as administrator

– Type:

Scf/scannow

This will check all the corrupted file and will replace it with legit ones.

• Now restart your PC. Check for updates

• Or else go for safe mode before searching for updates.

• Other than this you can try a manual update.
