I am trying to open a file in my Windows 10, but I am getting error 0x80070005 access denied. I looked into it to find out I don’t have permission to open the file. How to fix this?

How To Fix Error 0x80070005 Access Denied?

I am trying to open a file in my Windows 10, but I am getting error 0x80070005 access denied. I looked into it to find out I don’t have permission to open the file. How to fix this?
A – You need to change the administrative rights. Follow this process –

1 – Right-click on the file you need to open.

2 – Go to properties.

3 – Go to security.

4 – In the highlighted box, select your account and look for the permissions. If you don’t have the required permissions, click on Edit.

5 – Select the permissions under “Allow” you want to access.

6 – Click, Ok.

Try to open the file again.

Also, it may happen your file is damaged. If the above way does not help, try this –

1 – Search command prompt in the Start menu and open it.

2 – Type – sfc /scannow.

3 – Press Enter.

4 – Wait for the process to complete.

5 – Restart your device.

This can solve your problem.
