Hi, I am getting an error while updating my Windows 7 PC. I restarted my PC for very obvious reasons, but it did not work. How can I fix the 0x80070026 Windows 7 error?

How To Fix 0x80070026 Windows 7 Error?

You can try the following methods to fix the 0x80070026 Windows 7 error.

Method 1

a. Press Windows key + R.
b. Type temp and press enter.

c. In the new Window, you will find lots of files and folders.
d. Select all of them, and delete them.
e. If some of the files cannot be deleted, skip them.
f. Empty your Recycle Bin.
g. Try to update Windows now.

Method 2

a. Open Command prompt as Admin.
b. Type DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth, and press enter.

c. Type DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth and press enter.

d. Restart your device.
e. Try to update Windows.
