I want to upgrade my windows 2008 server to windows 2012 server. Please guide me through the steps of windows 2012 direct access configuration.

1. You need to install the remote access role first.
2. For the server FQDN, create a new DNS.
3. For IP-HTTPS connections, obtain a server certificate with a subject name.
4. Make a client security groups.
5. Open the Remote Access Management console after the successful installation of Remote access role.
6. Choose deploy Direct access only option.
7. Select the topology which satisfies your need.
8. Click next and finish with the default settings.
9. The various tasks are completed.
