My laptop fan has stopped working, and now it is getting really hot when I try to use it. Also, it shuts down automatically showing a blue screen. What should I do?
You should go to a service center first. These types of issues can damage the machine further. But still, if there is something you want to do urgently then follow the steps-
1. Try using the system in an air-conditioned environment. And make sure the fan area has sufficient ventilation.
2. You can also try to use a cooling bag below the system. It will take the heat way and protect the machine from heating too fast.
3. Buy a cooling pad for laptop. They are readily available in the market and also online.
They have built-in fans and keep the system cool.
4. You should on the first hand go to the service center or any repair guy and get the fan replaced.
5. After the fan is replaced, take precautions like keeping the fan area ventilated and not using the laptop on a bed or pillow. They stop the circulation of air and block the fan, thus doing such things causes a high risk of fan failure.
