I do not want people to see my last seen and also is there a way by which I can avoid the blue ticks on WhatsApp? I want my information to be private. What should I do?

How To Hide My Last Seen And Blue Ticks (read Receipts) On WhatsApp?

On WhatsApp, your privacy is in your hands. You can control everything about who can see your status updates to who can see your display picture. For a fully secure account follow these steps-

1. Go to settings -> Account -> privacy

2. Now you can select the “Last Seen” option and select an option which suits you.

“Everyone”- Every person who adds you can see your last seen.

“My contacts” – Those who are in your contacts will be able to look at your last seen

“Nobody” – No one will be able to look at your last seen

Note- You will also not be able to look at others last seen if you choose to hide yours.

3. Similarly, you can choose the read receipts option which suits you. You cannot hide read receipts in a group chat.

4. For your Status and About again choose an option which suits you.

5. You can further block an unwanted person who by chance, seems to have your number.
