Hello people! I want to know how to establish a new Wide Area Network? I need a connection to the internet and so, I have to setup a service provider. Let me know, how to configure a WAN network?
How To Configure A WAN Network To The Internet?
To configure a WAN internet connection:
- Locate the target GPO in the group Policy Management Console.
- Right-click on it and select Edit.
- Open Computer Configuration/Windows Mobile Settings, then right-click on Network Connections and choose New network connection.
- A dialog box will appear, click Next, then choose WAN, and then again click Next.
- Type the Connection Name and Access Point Name in the respective fields.
- Choose GPRS/EDGE/HSDPA in the wireless network type list.
- Select Internet in the Connect To list.
- Choose Next.
- Type the Username and Password, and select authentication type, and then click on Next.
- In the next window, review the summary info to verify, and click Finish.
