How to solve error in exiting software?

I have a problem in exiting software. Every time I am done using Skype and tried to exit the program, it hangs up. There are no other applications running at that time. What can be the source of the problem of exiting software?

How to solve error in exiting software?

Hello Azreil! Good Day!

When you sign out, you closed the skype WINDOW, but not the application. Skype is still running. You can completely terminate  Skype by right-clicking on the Skype taskbar icon or the Skype systray icon. You can also terminate skype in the task manager.

However, you can change your setting so that Skype is removed from the taskbar when you close the application. But this doesn't sign you out, you can still receive call and messages.

To do this:

1. Sign in to Skype.

2. Select Tools > Options.

3. Select Advanced > Advanced Settings.

4. Unchecked the box next to "Keep Skype in the taskbar while I'm signed in".

5. Save
