I bought mi Nokia C3 last week.

My internet works fine using the Nokia browser but when i try to use the communities it just says "network connection problem,

try again later" .

Is there an update to fix this, or is it just my phone?

Thanks

Hello there,

Well that's basically the problem from the operator's end. Anyway there is a way out to get rid of this situation. All you got to do is Download the latest version of Opera Mini Browser from the Ovi store. Once you download that it will ask you to connect either through WLAN or your Operator's Internet and also keep your default configuration settings and check.

Also you can activate MY WEB by going to Configuration settings and than in that go to Personal settings and then just activate My Web and check. Am sure this will work. Good Luck.

Thanks!!

This seems to be an issue of the Default Connection Profile. Whenever you try to connect using communities apps your phone reads that there is no current network file which have been chosen as default one. Try the following things to get rid of this;

1.       Navigate to Menu > Settings > Configurations> Personal Settings> Options> Add new, then create a new account with some title like “App Web” and Activate it.

2.       Menu> Settings > Connectivity > WLAN > Internet Connection > “Ask First”

3.       Menu > Internet > Web Settings > Config settings> and configure it as “Configuration: Personal Config and choose App Web on Account field”.

Now whenever you will try to connect it will ask for the profile to choose and you will have an option for the connectivity.
