How to simply edit a printable address book?

You must be using Windows Live Address Book.  

Here's how your contact list usually appears using the Windows Live Address Book:

Here’s a step by step procedure:

1.    In the menu tab select Go, and then press Contacts.

2.   To import contacts from your Outlook, copy the ‘.wab’ file of your Outlook.  This file contains your entire contact list.  Save this file on your desktop.

3.   Going back to your Windows Live Address Book, select File from the menu.  A drop down menu will appear and click on the Import tab.  Select Windows Live Book (.wab) so you can upload your contact list from your desktop.

4.   Click OK.

To check whether it is working, on the bottom left of your Address Book, there's a series of icons there.  Move your cursor to the icon that looks like a book.  Once you hover, 'Contacts' will actually appear.  Click it to open your contact list.  

Then your contacts will appear similar to this one.
