How to setup and configure an IP Camera Network?

When you say Network IP Camera, it needs IP Address that is link to your network. Maybe it’s from your router or switch. And a computer is also connected from where the IP camera is connected so that you may what is playing on the camera.

First things you need to do, is to set the IP Address of the Camera if possible.

Second, connect your camera to the network from a router or switch using a Cat5 FastEthernet Cable and RJ45. Look on YouTube for the video on how to crimp the RJ-45 and the cable.

Third, connect the one end of the cable with RJ-45 to the camera and put the IP Address of the device into its network setting. And connect the other end of the cable with RJ-45 to the switch or router.
