I just want to know on how to set up windows live mail 2011 with owa?

The settings and other default features that included to this kind of application.

And how is this related to my Microsoft outlook is this has to do with all the options and connections?

I hope you can give me the exact set up and explain more regarding this issue for my additional knowledge.

How to set up Windows live mail 2011 with owa?

Hello,

To setup Windows Live Mail, just follow the steps outlined below:

1.      Start Windows Live Mail and follow the wizard which opens. If the wizard doesn't run perform the following:

  • Click accounts on the Tools menu
  • Click Add in the Accounts page and then click on  E-mail Account, and then click on Next.

2.      Add an E-mail Account page displays and on the page, perform the  following:

  • Enter your e-mail address in the E-mail address box and password in the Password box.
  • Enter your full name in the Display Name box,.
  • Select Manually configure server settings for e-mail account, and then click Next.

3.      Under Incoming Server Information, do the following:

  • Under Incoming mail server, select IMAP or POP3 in the drop-down menu.
  • Under Incoming server, enter the POP3 or IMAP4 server name and Select This server requires a secure connection (SSL) option.
  • Make sure that Clear text authentication is selected under Log on using.
  • Under Login ID (if different from e-mail address), type your full e-mail address.

4.      Do the following under Outgoing Server Information,:

  • Under Outgoing server, enter the SMTP server name
  • External SMTP setting:

Server name: pod51005.outlook.com
Port: 587
Encryption method: TLS

  • Select This server requires a secure connection (SSL).
  • Select My Outgoing server requires authentication, and then click Next.

5.      Click Finish

6.     Close the Accounts page,.

7.      If you're using IMAP4 and the Show/Hide IMAP Folders dialog box appears, use the Windows
