They are economical, reliable, easy to install. They are related to the desktops.

WIRELESS NETWORKS:

If you have a lot of devices to connect to the internet, opt for this type. They are easy to install. No space for wires is required. These are related to the laptops.

TO DECIDE IF THE NETWORK WOULD BE PEER TO PEER OR CLIENT TO SERVER

i) PEER TO PEER SETUP

Each PC acts as client and Server. This type of setup is common in homes.

COMPONENTS REQUIRED:

• Wireless router.
• Ethernet cords.

ii)CLIENT SERVER SETUP

Many computers are connected to a single Server. This type is used by the large offices.

COMPONENTS REQUIRED:

• Server friendly Operating system. .

HOW TO SETUP YOUR NETWORK

1) In your browser, go to the routers website.

2) Login to your account.

3) Go to settings and open the security tab.

4) If security standard is WIFI protected access then go ahead and create a password.

5) Secure the network with firewalls and anti-virus software’s.
