You have received your charter cable modem and now you have to connect it, to use your internet. If you have got charter Wi-Fi router, it is easy to connect the modem. How to set up charter internet?
1) Connect the coaxial cable. One end is connected to the back of charter modem and other end is connected to cable outlet in your house.
2) Connect the power cord of modem to an electrical plugin.
3) Ethernet cable from the WAN port present on the back of charter modem is connected to the Ethernet port on your PC.
4) If you have a router then instead of connecting it to the port of PC, connect the cable to Internet port of router. Also, plugin the power cable of router.
5) Open a browser on your desktop. Account page will open.
6) If not directly redirected, go to identify your account page manually-
https://install.charter.com/Â .
7) Click on Install New Service.
8) Enter phone number, account number and zip code.
9) Click on next and you are done with the process.
